Hey Girls!!! Do you have any New Years’ Resolutions yet?? I know one of mine is always to invest in good, quality basics! You know, those versatile, foundational pieces of clothing! Having quality basics that don’t go out of style is essential!! And they’re so easy to keep and build off year-to-year! If you also value the quality basics, check out my outfit from Nordstrom!! Let’s break this outfit down!

First, my ribbed sweatshirt! Believe me, it is as comfy as it looks! I live in Southern California, and while most of the time it’s warm and sunny, it can get a bit chilly! When that happens, I’m all about layers! This is such a solid, thin layer!! Pairing this under a jean jacket or moto jacket would be so cute! It comes in this beige and also a heathered grey!

Next, these jeans! They’re flattering and oh-so-comfy!! A great basic dark skinny jean! They’re nice enough to dress up with heels or casual enough to wear with sneakers (as I did here!!)!

You ladies know I love sneakers! I’ve been on a huuuuuuuge sneaker kick lately, and these are my latest addition! These animal print sneaks are great for an on-the-go errands kind of day, especially if you want to feel cute while you’re out!! ALSO they’re cute but comfy!! Are you ladies noticing a pattern?? Hehehe!

Last but certainly not least, my cross body purse! This cute quilted metallic number has just a bit of shine, so it stands out without overtaking the outfit! It also has a subtle snake pattern! It’s roomy enough to fit the basics and then some!! The color makes it SO versatile, too!!
