ECCO has re-invented “denim” my friends!!! It’s called TRUE INDIGO! I classify their work as MAGICAL hehe!! I get the questions, “Is it denim?” or “Is it leather?” I like to answer BOTH! They have discovered how to dye leather to resemble denim…yet maintain the luxury, performance and feel of leather!! I’m quite simply obsessed.
ECCO TRUE INDIGO is a collection of leathers that undergo a modern tanning technology to reinterpret the traditional, artisanal methods of denim dyeing. The outcome is an intensively hued, one-of-a-kind leather with varying depths of blue that will fade and evolve over time, just like your favorite denim pieces!
All ECCO shoes are crafted with trademarked direct injection technology, a production process with precise molds and complex engineering to create superior levels of comfort. The ECCO TRUE INDIGO line was developed in house. I learned they are the only shoemaker to own and operate all stages of production, from leather development, tanning, and shoe making. They are keeping the shoe industry on their toes, and my toes fashionable in the shoes industry!!!
When I first opened the box, I was surprised at how vibrant the blue is!! I knew that each ECCO SOFT 8 shoe is unique, so I was curious about how they would look as a pair. Both are dyed equally and the color is so pretty! So from an aesthetic stand point, they are beautiful. However, comfort is just as important to me, and Friends! These measure up!! Their methods to make great shoes comfortable are worth every penny!! I usually wear a size 7.5 and find they fit true to size! In addition to feeling like walking on clouds, the leather is so soft, pliable and smooth. I wore them with my favorite cutoffs and button down here, but I absolutely plan on pairing them with leggings, skirts and even my dresses this spring!!
The name of my bag makes me chuckle. My family encouraged me all throughout high school and college to pursue medicine. Needles make me woozy! I am definitely no doctor (I admire those who are and am thankful for our doctors!); however, being a mom means that I keep band-aids on hand! Perfect for my ECCO SP 2 Small Doctor’s bag! Hehe!!! It’s an ideal size for on the go, and it comes with a strap to convert it to a cross body bag! My favorite types of bags for when I need to sling it over my shoulder and chase after my littles!
